Bradley Ray Chitwood entered this earth on November 29th 1979, and left this earth at 10:56 pm on Wednesday May 21st 2025 surrounded by family and lifelong friends. Bradley spoke often of his fears of dying alone, but in the words of Tom Petty "most things I worry about, never happen anyway" . To the last moment life left his body he was embraced in the arms of those who loved him, and we know that he was greeted by all those who have come to pass before him. He was a gentle soul and showed kindness to all and believed in embracing life's wonders. I would like to say that I could list all his family, but those who knew him understood that family expanded far beyond just blood. He impacted the lives of those around him deeply and his love will shelter and nourish all those who interacted with him for their lives. If you find yourself missing him, look to the wind rustling the leaves, the fish in the streams, and the birds singing and you will find him there speaking to you.

Bradley is survived by his parents Danny and Kathy (Crider) Chitwood, his brother and sister-in-law Michael and Elise Chitwood. Aunt and Uncles: Steve & Lana Crider, Kelli (Crider)and David Prince, Jessica Chitwood and Jimmy Garcia, and Joe and Sheila Chitwood. Cousins: Julie (Crider) and Joe Robertson, Jennifer Crider, Staci Crider, Josh and Alyssa Prince, Sarah (Prince)and Anthony Sipes, Lindsey (Chitwood) and Matt McConnell, Brian Chitwood, Stacey (Chitwood) and Seth Miller, and Nick Chitwood and Kelsey Fleetwood. Along with all his cousins children whom he loved dearly and his hound dog Bootsie.

Bradley will be cremated, and his ashes will be laid to rest in Duncan Cemetery in Brown County, IN. On a future date a celebration of life will take  place.
