The family of Charles Allen (Charlie) Matlock mourns his passing. Born July 28, 1965 into the Bloomington home of Earl and Linda (Scarborough) Matlock. Entered Eternal Rest May 12, 2021.

His memory will be cherished by children, Christina (Tina ) Lynn Matlock and Travis Allen Matlock; grandchildren, Blaze and Austin Matlock; siblings, Josette and Chris Matlock.

He is reunited in the presence of our Heavenly Father with both parents, and step-dad, Charles Diskey; brother, Glenn Matlock.

Charlie was battling terminal prostate cancer for 4 years. Although he was in a lot of pain most of the time, no one could tell because he didn't show it. He was tough for sure. He loved racing anything whether it was a four wheeler, motorcycle, racecar or go kart . Anything he could make go fast or was reckless he loved. He also liked playing darts and dice. He loved to sing karaoke. His profession and passion was auto mechanics. He could fix anything wrong with a car. He loved gambling. He spent a lot of time at French lick resort. He loved his two dogs Matlock and Dixie. His daughter was his pride and joy.

Charlie was the life of the party . He would be someone considered as "living on the edge" most of his life. He had charisma , charm , and personality that you couldn't describe for anyone he truly was a one of a kind person. Anybody who met him knows they won't find another like him.
