Connie Sue Carrison, 69. died on Sunday November 22, 2020 at home in Ellettsville, Indiana, formerly of the Peoria, Illinois area.

Connie was born July 7, 1951 in Peoria Illinois to Florence Peckenpaugh. She graduated from East Peoria Community High School in East Peoria, Illinois in 1969. She worked and retired from Zellers Mental Hospital in Peoria before the closing in 2002.

She married Terry Howell in 1974 and they had 2 children. They divorced in 2000 and he survives. Connie married Harold Carrison on July 18, 2009. He passed away on May 25, 2012.

Connie moved to Lakeland, Florida to enjoy the weather for a number of years with her boyfriend Dan Clayton. They then moved to Ellettsville, Indiana in July of 2020. He passed away on November 12, 2020.

She left behind her two daughters, Shea Howell and Tia Howell (Scott Bailey), her 5 grandchildren. Brittany Booker, Christina Booker, Kaitlyn Booker, Tori Friedrich, and Theodore Friedrich Jr. She also had 1 great granddaughter, Addilyn Booker, brothers and sister, Raymond Peckenpaugh, Danny Peckenpaugh, Elaine (Dave) Harr, and Barry (Lisa) Peckenpaugh,

She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Peckenpaugh, sister Vicky Hutchison, her niece, Billie Jo Hall, and the love of her life, Dan Clayton.

Her favorite holiday was Christmas although she hated the cold. She loved being around her family for the holidays. She would help anyone she could. Her humor and thoughtfulness will be missed the most. She will not be forgotten.

Celebration of Life will be 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday April 25, 2021 at Neumann Park, 305 Neumann Drive Shelter 1, East Peoria Illinois.
