Daniel M. Morris Yowell, born on October 11, 1966, in Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 1am. He attended Crispus Attucks High School, Anderson University, IUPUI, and Business College, earning an Associate's degree. During his high school years, he excelled in football and wrestling, reaching the state level in wrestling. Daniel pursued a career as a professional wrestler, joining a team led by Dick the Bruiser, and achieved the honor of winning a world champion belt. Later, he dedicated his time to coaching little league football at Christian Park and served as a high school sports umpire and referee. His professional life also included roles as a bus driver for Wayne Township Schools, an accountant, tax preparer, and notary.
Daniel was predeceased by his mother, Judith Ann Owen Yowell, his father, Russell Leon Yowell, and his brother, Jeffrey Allen Duffy. He is survived by his brother, Kenneth Martin Duffy, nephews Nicholas Martin Duffy and Matthew Michael Duffy (Tiffany Nealy), and great nieces Aubrey Ann Duffy and Annabelle Jean Duffy.
Cremation is being handled by Bloomington Cremation Society, and a celebration of life will be held privately by the family. Those wishing to attend may contact the family via Facebook messenger.
