David Raymond Haygood, 80, Freedom IN, entered into rest July 27, 2022. Born May 29, 1942 to Leslie and Dorothy (Hilligoss) Haygood of Ingalls, IN, he is survived by his wife Sylvia (Curtis), daughter Tina Smith, sons David Jeffrey and Draven, granddaughters Christa (Larry) McConnell, Kaitlin (Daniel) Newforth, and Laken (Seth) White, grandsons Ethan and Caleb Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Noah, Edward, and James, sisters Norma Denger, Clara Sewell, and Martha Schoolcraft. several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Spencer Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Before retiring, he worked at Harris Pine Mills, Western Electric, and General Electric.

There will be no services.

He is sorely missed by family and friends who are looking forward to the resurrection to be reunited, never to part again.
