Evelyn Kay Bennett (Hammond) was born August 31st 1947 to Mildred Flarence Hammond and Herbert Waldon Hammond.
She married Gary Bennett and had three sons, Danny (Michelle) Bennett, Michael (Cheryl) Bennett and Butch (Monique) Bennett.  She was proceeded in death by both parents and son, Michael Bennett.

She had several grandchildren , Brandi (Tommy) Oakley, Whitney Payne ,Danielle Richardson, Brittany (Tyler) Yeatman , Kaleb Bennett, Briar Bennett.
She has several great grandchildren, Emily, Hailey and Gabriel  Stidd.  Brooklyn and Lilly Richardson . Keegan and Welyin Yeatman.
Her very first great-great granddaughter, also her name sake Evelynn (Evie).

Kay was a devoted Catholic and very strong in her faith. Kay enjoyed spending time with her family and riding horses and camping . She loved bird watching ,planting flowers and going to flea markets.
She was an amazing woman who was loved dearly. She passed very peacefully surrounded by her family on July 27th  in the early morning.
