Harold Gene Beaty, known as Gene, passed away 4:20am on Sunday 10/29/2023 at age 68. Gene is survived by his son, Jesse Beaty and daughter, Julia Beaty and three grandchildren, Logan, Que and Samantha. He was born in Muncie Indiana on 2/3/1955. He married his sweetheart, Linda Johnson. They went on to have a son and two daughters. Gene was an avid sports lover. His favorite teams were Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox, Indiana Hoosiers, Tennessee Volunteers. He loved wood working, making several shelving and cabinet pieces varying in size. As well, Gene had a love or older cars. He enjoyed collecting diecast and model cars. The most important things in his life was his family. Gene meant so much to so many people, touching countless lives while on this earth. He was a truly humble, kind, loving and soft spoken father, son, brother and friend. He is missed deeply and will always remain near and dear to the hearts and minds of many.
