James Stewart Roberts, aged 77, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025. Born on March 7, 1948, in West Lafayette, Indiana, James was a beloved husband, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Clark, his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Richard DeBondt of Greenville, South Carolina, and his two nephews, Scott and Bradley Drury.

James honorably served his country in the United States Army. After his military service, he became a familiar and friendly face as a bus driver for Indiana University, where he touched the lives of many.

A memorial service to celebrate James's life will be held at First United Church on September 20, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1:30pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm, officiated by Rebecca Hoke-McCall.
