Jeffrey Scott Musgrave (66) passed away in his sleep the morning of March 27, 2026, at his home near Whitehall, Indiana. Jeff was a member of Richland Church of Christ. He worked in the electrical industry for most of his career. He graduated Suma Cum Laude from Indiana Wesleyan with a degree in business. He was a generous, hardworking volunteer for the Monroe County 4-H youth program, coordinator of the Nashville Song Writers’ Association International, and tirelessly served his community in more ways than can be expressed here. He was a licensed airplane pilot, talented photographer, and singer/songwriter. He enjoyed golfing, beekeeping, woodworking, hunting, fishing, and was an avid Percheron draft horse enthusiast. Jeff will be remembered for his sense of humor, intense work ethic, beautiful singing voice, and helping others in need. When he was asked how he was doing his answer would often be “fat and sassy.”
Jeff is survived by his loving wife (of nearly forty-six years) Kimberly Ann (Smith) Musgrave, his three daughters: Jennifer Lynair Musgrave (Dr. Alex Garman, Ph.D.), Rachel Marie (Musgrave) Taylor (Jason), and Emily Kay (Musgrave) Goad, and seven grandchildren: Leah Marie Taylor, Tara Lynn Taylor, Chloe Ann Taylor, Atticus Warren Alexander Goad, Luke Aiden Musgrave, Annalee Elizabeth Musgrave, and Keely Rose Garman. He is also survived by his father Robert Lester Musgrave (Janet), his father-in-law Lloyd Eugene Smith, his mother-in-law Romana Kay (Noel) Smith, his sister Joyce Diane Musgrave (Brian West), his brother Jon Dean Musgrave (Jill), and his sisters-in-law Valerie Lynn (Smith) Ennis (Steven) and Pamela Kaye (Smith) Waterford (Dennis). He was preceded in death by his mother Patsy Helen (Parks) Musgrave.
A graveside service will be held at Gross Cemetery on March 31, 2026, at 12pm. A celebration of life will follow.
