He is survived by daughter Lynnette Church; grandchildren Jessee Leo Tyree, Ashley Holmes, and Madison Holmes; great-grandchildren Ryker, Octavia, Joxon, Dayze, Delilah, and Bellamy; brother Charles Tyree; sisters Kimberly Stewart, Karen Dowdy, and Vicki Costin. Preceded in death by son Leo Vernon Tryee, III, and parents Leo Vernon Tyree, I. and Shirley Joann Burkett (Massey).
