Margaret Mary Cleveland, nee Abram, died November 11, 2025, after a course of Alzheimer's.
Margaret, Margie, was born on October 12, 1948, and grew up in Michigan City, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Abram and her brother Jerome
Abram.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Land, formerly John Cleveland, and her sister Judy
Krengel, nephew Ryan Krengel, niece Marisa Vessely and grandnephews Nicholas, Jasper, and
grandniece Madeline.
Margie graduated Indiana University School of Business in 1970. She taught in Indianapolis,
Key West, and Queen Anne's County, Maryland where she taught from 1978 to her retirement in
2012.
Margie was an accomplished artist in clay, water colors and sketching.
