IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Ann
Tregembo
October 15, 1929 – June 25, 2025
Mary Ann Tregembo, 95, of Bloomington, IN, passed away on Wednesday June 25, 2025, with her loving daughter and sister by her side. Born in Ironwood, Michigan on October 15, 1929, Mary Ann was the third of four children of the
late Peter and Draga Janov.
Mary Ann Janov married the love of her life, Rhoderic Tregembo, on September 9, 1950. They were married for over 50 wonderful years prior to his passing. Mary Ann and Rhoderic raised two incredible and devoted children, son, Scott; and daughter, Tracy.
She leaves behind her daughter, Tracy Camplain and her husband, Tom Camplain; daughter-in-law, Toni Tregembo, married to Scott Tregembo; sister, Bonnie Tunmore and her husband, Roger Tunmore; four granddaughters that cherished their relationships with their grandmother; Jamie Tregembo-Bal, Jessie Tregembo-Cordova, Ricky Camplain-Farrell, and Carly Camplain-Allen; and three great-grandchildren, Aleah and Aubry Cordova and Bryce Farrell.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Janov; sister, Lorraine
Lackovich; and her devoted son, Scott Tregembo.
If you knew Mary Ann, you knew that she made the best pasties. Not just pasties, but elaborate meals for her family. She had the "entertainment bug" as most people who knew her would agree. She would also rearrange her friend's and family's living rooms in the middle of the night if she didn't feel like the room was just right. She was an avid and proficient knitter – with
afghans and dolls spread across the family and country.
She was generous with her time and resources – hosting almost every holiday at her home and never getting upset when her young granddaughters would play Barbies on her very breakable, very expensive cowboy statue.
Her life was filled with family and friends – living a lifetime of excitement and adventure surrounded by those who loved her.
In honor of Mary Ann, instead of flowers or gifts, please play a game of the "Bridge" – her all-
time favorite card game.
