Roy Bedford Melton, age 90 of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, May 24, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cora and Marvin Melton; his wife, Shelba; infant son, Johnny; step-daughter, Amanda Higgins; all five sisters, Weltha Flynn, Aliene Furguson, Isabelle Reynolds, Vivie Nell Melton, Lorene Burns; and son-in-law, Don Fuller.

He is survived by three daughters, Linda Mullis (Rick), Debara Fuller (Don, deceased) and Theresea Shipley (Marty), all of Bloomington Indiana; eight grandchildren; Diana Griffin (Rob; deceased), Ricky Mullis (Kathy), Dale "CJ" Fleming (Britany), Christopher Flick, Megan Smith (Cameron), Noah Shipley, Cortney Higgins-Brown, Chyane Higgins; and many great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is deeply loved and missed.
