Stanley Dewight Sherfield went to be with the Lord December 17th, 2023, peacefully at his home.

He was born July 15,1944, in Spencer, Indiana, the son of late Herschel and Lois Sherfield. He was the 1 of 4 siblings. On November 3rd, 1989, he married Shirley Davis who survives.

He attended Gerrard Chapel Church

He attended Spencer High School in Spencer Indiana

He retired from Indiana University retired again from Weather Shield in Medford Wisconsin and went on to raise dairy cattle and sheep in Wisconsin.

Stanley was a loved Husband, father, grandfather son, brother, uncle, and friend.

He was the sort of man that set goals and worked hard to archive them. He was not afraid of hard work, all who Knew him Loved and respected him.

He is survived by his Bride of 34 years Shirley (Davis) Sherfield Spencer, sister Susie (Steve) Davis ,1 son Christopher (Allison) Sherfield of Opelika AL.1 daughter Jennifer (James) Robinson of Bloomington IN., stepson's Edward (Ellen) Stancombe of Columbus GA. William (Gail) Stancombe ,1 Stepdaughter Brenda (Ron) Jablonsky of Bedford IN. he Had 12 Grandchildren and 20 Great grandchildren ,2 great-great grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews. Stanley was preceded in death by his Parents Herschel Sherfield, Louis (Small) Sherfield, brother Herold Sherfield, Sister Wilma Tharp, stepdaughter Nancy Stancombe, Stepson's Melvin Stancombe, and Steven Stancombe

A Celebration of Stanley's Life will be held December 30th 2023 at Gerrard Chapel 7410 W ST Rd 46 Bowling Green Indiana at 2:30 pm
