Steven Loyd Norman of Bloomington, Indiana was born May 2, 1951 in Lawrence County, Indiana, passed away in his home on January 12, 2022.

Preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Bland; and father, Ralph Norman.

Survived by his wife, Lana Hendrix Norman; daughter, Angela Todd (Mike); and step-daughter, Jessica Spurrier; Grandchildren, Tara, Kaylee, Emily, Blake,Joseph and Jocelyn; Great-grandchildren, Tatelyn, Callie and Logan.

During his life Steven served his country honorably in the United States Army National Guard, worked in the stone quarry and at General Electric. He served five terms as President of Local Union 2249 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Steve and Lana enjoyed motorcycles, horses and hunting. Steve taught many friends gun safety and shared his hunting skills with several close friends and family.

Passionate in his political, social, and civil rights beliefs, he leaves behind a strong presence "Fight for what you believe in and stand together."

Steve will be cremated with a private memorial service for family and close friends at a later date.
